Mom (Lena), said that her Pap asked all over town about
Prentiss, before giving permission for her to marry him.
Lena passed away Feb. 23, 2002 at about 5:00 am. She was in the
Villisca Good Samaritan nursing home in Iowa. She was buried in
the Lexington Cemetery on Hwy 49 a few miles north of Bedford,
IA, near Lake of Three Fires.
